Worship

Connect with God and others through a warm and traditional worship experience. Inspiring music, a relevant message, and welcoming spirit will help you experience the love of Christ and empower you to serve others.  Our main service starts at 10:30am on Sundays, immediately following Sunday School at 9:30am.

Communion and a brief devotional time every Sunday from 9:00am – 9:15am in the small chapel.

Learn

Sunday School Classes (9:30-10:10am)

Sisters in Christ:  A progressive women’s class.   Contact Annette Watters (345-5661)

Concord Class:  A mature group of friends who pray, sing and study together.  Contact Tom Freeman (556-6223 or 394-2750).

Fellowship Class: An intergenerational group that enjoys a lecture based lesson. Contact Peggy Reed (454-8247 or preed@fa.ua.edu )

Bible Studies are taught short-term throughout the year by different teachers, usually on Wednesday nights.

Choir and Hand Bells

Children and Youth

Families come in all shapes, sizes and configurations.  We welcome people of all ages and their families!

Children’s Sunday School and Children’s Church include music, art, puzzles, computers and science experiments as kids learn about God’s love through Jesus Christ.

Star Babies (Infant Nursery), Sonshine Friends (Preschoolers), Rainbow Kids (Pre-K to 2nd), Storm Breakers (3rd to 6th),  Preteen “Breakout” Special Activities (5th & 6th)

Nursery Care (newborn to 3)

Our nursery is staffed by qualified, caring adults during Sunday School, Worship and Wednesday nights.  The nursery is located near the elevator on the education level.

After the children’s moment, we offer children’s church for kids pre-k – 2nd grade. You are welcome to have your children participate in the children’s worship, or keep them with you in the sanctuary.
